That glass don't have a crystal structure was my point. But I'll give you that one that boules must have some sort of crystal structure. I thought they all where made from AL2O3 and that they have traces of other metals for different colors. Blue sapphires would then have traces of iron for example?It's just that when I look at a cut boule it doesn't seem to have the spark. While a real ruby or sapphire feels more... alive.
